Description
This spectacle is ideal for reading. The durable tortoise colored plastic frame has two 46mm width lenses. The lenses are made of distortion free optics. The magnification is a 2.5x (+10.00 Diopters) sphere in the right eye, and the left eye is blanked out in black. Also included is a soft case. These glasses are made with a much higher power then the standard readers that you may find at a nearby store. These may help anyone with low vision or an eye disease be able to read again. Because of the high power, you are however required to hold the paper close while reading for the image to be focused. The distance of where the paper needs to be held to is almost to your nose. The reason for the magnification being in only one eye is because with the high power you cannot see clear with both eyes having this much magnification. How you would go about choosing whether you would like to purchase the ones with the left eye or the right eye with the magnification is you would determine which eye you can see better out of or which eye you prefer to read out of and choose the proper glasses that have the magnification in that eye.
