Our story

How we got our start?
Essential Formulas’ founder Michael Schoor experienced first-hand the superior benefits of Dr. Ohhira’s probiotics while traveling in Malaysia. That experience resulted in a meeting with microbiologist Dr. Iichiroh Ohhira and a subsequent agreement to distribute the Dr. Ohhira products in the U.S.
