A feeling of dryness is the most common symptom of dry eye, but some of the symptoms of dry eye are not as straightforward. Q: I don’t understand the product expiration date listed on my product.
A: We use international dating, so the year comes first, then the month. So if your product expires in 2016/09, that means September of 2016.
Q: Can I use my Systane after it has expired?
A: We do not recommend using our products after they expire because we do not test expired product and therefore cannot guarantee the efficacy of the product after expiration.
Q: Does it expire at the beginning of the month or the end of the month?
A: Alcon products expire at the end of the month.
Q: Do I need to refrigerate my Systane products?
A: No. Systane products can be stored at room temperature.
